How do I make an icon with animated text and such?

Posted by admin On January - 9 - 2012

Query by SignsofPoetry: How do I make an icon with animated text and this kind of?
I was inspired to make an icon for a friend when I clicked on her myspace photos to see the new types, and just as I clicked to comment a image of hers with a piano in it, some lyrics of a song by Go Fish I really like played.

I am planning on making use of the keys of the piano as the qualifications because there is just some thing about the lighting and coloration of the pic that I adore. The text will be pink because she enjoys that colour.

I want to do far more than just stick text on an image. I want to make specific phrases stand out with animation and distinct fonts, but I am not sure how. Is there any free of charge on-line generator or whichever? I don’t have photoshop, but I do have paint.net.

The capitalized phrases I want to stand out more

“From only 88 keys come endless Options
And that is what AMAZES me” <---this last line will be at the bottom of the icon.

Sorry if this is confusing. I'll clarify more if I need to. Thanks for the help everyone.
What I want to do is make it so the text changes color like in this icon: http://iconator.com/icon.php?IconID=820659. I only really want that on "AMAZES"...and possibly "POSSIBILITIES"

*One particular* chance (although primitive and without having audio is aniedit.exe which I feel arrives with your base technique, an animated cursor editor. (If it is not with your base method then it can be probable offered as a download|acquire from microsoft…I have had it for so long I forget exactly where I acquired it, and it arrived along with imagedit.exe, a base primitive “a single-frame” icon/cursor/bitmap editor)

Question by d.s.b: How do you make a Dynamic Link between Final Cut Pro and After Effects CS4?
I am using Final Cut for video editing and I want to import text that I make in After Effects. I have been exporting the sequence from AE and that works fine, but it’s such a pain and it takes up so much space on my computer!

Does anyone know of a way to link FCP and AE so that I can import the AE project directly into FCP like you can do with Premiere?

Thanks!

You should ask this question on the Creative Cow (FCP and AEP) forums. Don’t waste your time waiting here. That forum is specifically for these questions.

I never use the two apps that way so I am not sure how you would do it or if it’s possible. Usually, apps only work that way if they are from the same company.

What do you think? Answer below!

i want to add text to my home video?

Question by mofiz ahmed: i want to add text to my home video?
you people might have seen in news channel, scrolling text or moving text at lower part of screen,i want similar text effect for my home video .i have adobe premier as well as windows moviemaker.i also want to add music to my videos only in selected portions or clips while other clips should have its initials sounds. How can i do this by using the above software or i need something else?

Answer by Timmeh
You can do it all with Premiere. Whatever you do don’t use movie maker unless you want all your hard work to be lost cause the program “crashes” all the time. With that said, you can add music in the audio channel of premiere and adjust the volume in the the sound effects tab to control when the music turns on and off. You can use the Title tab to create some “lower thirds” and scrolling text. Just make sure it is on a separate video layer above your main footage. You might get “cooler” lower thirds by using After Effects to create them and import them into Premiere, but you can definitely do it all in premiere. Hope that helps.
