This took 2 hours to make after i wondered if i could i recreate a title sequence to a popular film? Well this is how i got to make this video. I was a big fan of the Terminator films as a kid and i came across the font on the internet and it started from there. Heres how i did it: I ripped the clapper sound off the original Terminator 2 intro from a clip on youtube and used a mp3 youtube ripper website to do it. I then went on the free text generators and found the style. I ripped a video of an open fire from youtube and trimmed it down using sony vegas so that only the fire was highlighted. I then copied and pasted the fire 4 times overlapping them so that they stretched across the full length of the screen. I then faded their opacity to blend them together so that they were dark and faded into one long fire. I lined them up and positioned them on the screen along the edge of black which i generated to simulate widescreen. I then drew a line for the middle, using the text generator and animated the clapper just using a transition effect on vegas. I timed the clapper with the sound effect from Terminator 2. I replicated the video in red and faded the two together to create the effect of it going red with the flames. Then i used a free sound sampler off the net and took the sound of a whale as the humming noise, the thunder effect to give it that extra umph i think that the logo would need in todays day and age – (an evolution of the previous logo you could say) and a …
